“Just after new years of 2017/2018 we found a big box of lost cassette tapes at a car boot sale in Rejmyre, Sweden. It turned out to be a collection of live recordings, demos and other cassettes from the now quite forgotten "Finspång Sound" an underground electronic music scene/dance craze in Sweden starting in the early 90s. Together with one of the artists - Florian Wulffpeckrl - we set out to chronicle and to some degree immortalise the scene.”

In this third and final (?) chapter of ’The Finspång Sound’, the divergence in style has seemingly reached its climax, some have embraced the new trance wave sweeping across Europe, rekindling their ravey roots whilst others have taken their spiritual seeking to the next level. Sharp supersaws intertwined with contemplative mellow soundbeds. An esoteric and explicit exploration of the Finspång region’s soul featuring unreleased work by Problematic Pistill, Ludvig de Gärsgård and Snebald Snyting amongst others.
